Basic Roller Ratchet ®
Shown along side a conventional hand ratchet, the Short and Long Handle Roller Ratchets exhibit their advantages. Single-Ended Wrenches are the most popular. They have been made as small as practical for the torque demands of most applications. The smallest wrenches are the RR40 and RR1series with a working torque range up to 150 lb-in. This series is available with a reversible spindle, and a Double-Ended wrench is also available for convenience - one end for clockwise rotation and the other for counterclockwise rotation. Spindles are fixed in the double-ended wrenches to prevent them from coming out inadvertantly. This is sufficient for most small fasteners. As the size and torque demands of the fasteners increases, so also does the space into which they must be installed. Wrenches graduate in size and torque capacity to allow the best choice for a given application. Capacities of 150, 200, 200, 400, & 600 lb-in are available. These wrenches accept standard 1/4" or 3/8" square drive sockets. They are also available in standard Square-Drive, or Thru-Hole Square Drive. The Thru-Hole versions are specially designed for installing collars or nuts onto 'broached pins' such as aircraft Hi-Lok fasteners.
